What Is Terrazzo?

Our terrazzo is mainly precast inorganic terrazzo, also called architect terrazzo. It is a type of flooring material that is gaining popularity in both commercial and residential settings.

Precast inorganic terrazzo is made up of a variety of materials, such as natural stone, marble bricks, crushing quarry rock, boulders, cobbles, or large-size gravel, glass, shell, quartz, and some recycled materials. These materials are carefully selected for durability and aesthetics. binders consist of inorganic materials, mainly high-performance cement. These materials were chosen for their ability to hold pieces together and form a sturdy surface that can withstand heavy human traffic and wear and tear.

How terrazzo is produced?

The production process for inorganic terrazzo involves several steps. First, the raw materials are sorted and cleaned. Then, they are crushed into small fragments of different sizes using specialized machinery. These fragments are mixed with the binder to form a paste that can be poured into a very huge vessel. Once the mixture(terrazzo block)has dried, it will be cut panel by panel, ground, and polished to create a smooth, even surface. We call these panels terrazzo slate or terrazzo slab. At last, the terrazzo slab will be cut to the different sizes(terrazzo floor tile, terrazzo wall tile) and shapes(terrazzo processing) that the customer ultimately wants.

Type of terrazzo:

  • Miscro Terrazzo

It is a kind of precast terrazzo tile made of crushed fine-grain aggregate approximately 2.36 mm in size.

  • Unico Terrazzo

5 mm in size aggregate makes the terrazzo more elegant.

  • Classic Terrazzo

  • Large Aggregate

Large aggregate terrazzo in the visual has greater impact, suitable for modern decoration style, as well as the use of large public areas.

  • Travertine Terrazzo

The terrazzo is visually close to the effect of the cave stone, suitable for large-area interior wall decoration, as well as the building's facade use.
