How we work

Mosaic:

Our mosaics are novel in design, rich in color, and highly customizable. We accept small quantity customization orders.

About materials: We use different materials to design our mosaics. These include porcelain,ceramics, glass, stone, metal, cement, shells, resin, clay, etc.

About shape: Our mosaics can be made in various shapes through cutting, molding, water jet processing and other processes, including square, rectangle, circle, triangle, hexagon, fan-shaped, lantern-shaped, drop-shaped, flower-shaped and other various special shapes.

About the surface: The surface of mosaic has flat surface, concave and convex surface, and 3D three-dimensional surface. They can be made in both glossy and matte finishes.

About size: The sheet size of mosaic tiles is generally 300x300mm, and normal chip sizes are as small as 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, 23mm, 25mm to 48mm, 98mm, 148mm, etc.

About color and technology: Our mosaics express different colors through printing, glaze, inkjet, cold spray, electroplating, foil and other processes. Even marble and shells can be colored and patterned by special technology.

 

Small Tiles

Our small tiles mainly refer to handmade tiles, art tiles, patterned tiles,hand-painted tiles and other tiles with decorative functions,which Including both small size wall tiles and floor tiles. Materials include: porcelain, ceramic, clay, glass, cement etc. Specifications generally do not exceed 300mm. Conventional sizes include 50x150, 50x200, 60x240, 100x100, 125x125, 150x150, 200x200, 300x300, etc. Solid colors, gradient colors, illusion colors, and metals can be customized. Color etc. The shape is generally realized through molds, and small order quantity is acceptable.

 

Terrazzo

Terrazzo comes in rich colors and can be customized to the colors in the Pantone color card. Aggregate options range from marble, sand, glass, shells to recycled ceramic particles, clay brick particles, metal particles etc. The small aggregates are mainly 2-3mm and 3-5mm.The more normal ones are 5-10mm, 10-15mm and 15-20mm.The large aggregates can even reach 500mm. The shapes of the aggregates include irregular shapes, ovals, even squares, rectangles, hexagonal and other special shapes. Terrazzo is generally made into a honed surface, and other glossy polished and craft surface can also be customized. The finished specifications also range from square and rectangular to special hexagonal and waterjet puzzles.Size are mainly including 300x300mm, 300x600mm, 600x600mm, 800x800mm, 900x900mm etc. And it is also designed to make mosaic tiles.

Stone

Our stones mainly include marble, sandstone, travertine, and limestone. Our stones are mainly natural textures, and we can also customize patterns and carving patterns on the surface. For surface craftsmanship, more customers choose Polished, Honed, rough, nature surface, and 3D surface. Our sizes are generally small in size, including 50x200mm, 75x150mm, 75x300mm, 100x100mm, 100x200mm, 100x300mm, 200x200mm, 300x300mm, 300x600mm etc. Dimensions are highly customizable.

There are many variations of mosaics, and different materials can be used such as glass, stone, stainless steel, brass, shells, ceramics, resin, etc. Customized mosaics can start from the aspects of material, shape, craftsmanship, material matching etc. But the final design varies by the areas of application and the characteristics of the material.

 

TERRAZZO OEM/ODM INTRODUCTION

Our terrazzo is inorganic precast terrazzo, mainly using cement as the base mixing with sand,natural stones, shells, glass, clay, ceramics and other recycled materials as aggregate.It is also called cement based terrazzo,or inorganic terrazzo.Our terrazzo is highly customizable and can be customized with different aggregates, different colors, and settings to design specific combinations of shapes.It is widely used in public areas, such as airports, hospitals, large commercial plazas, shopping malls, libraries, restaurants, private residences, villas,bathrooms, swimming pools and other places. So it is also called architectural terrazzo. And those terrazzos that are customized with special aggregates and specific arrangements are called handmade terrazzo.

A.S.T Building Materials Co.ltd have advanced automatic production line and skilled technical workers to make sure the stability of quality.

 

The production procedure as follow:

 

.Fast response:3 days of trial samples.

.Serious and rigorous:Make samples again before production to reduce problems such as color difference and dimensional errors.

.Focus and professional:In order to ensure the effect of the entire large batch of our tiles, we start quality control from the very beginning of the raw materials.We pay more attention to details such as the color of the stone, the stability of the pigment, the integrity of the corners, and the neatness of the packaging.

 

Customers' orders are unlimited trust in us. We will respond to every trust with professional knowledge and sincere service. Every step in our production is subject to quality inspection before we can move on to the next step. From raw material procurement, trial sample,printing,kiln firing, cutting, paving, carton packing, wooden pallet packing etc.Dedicated personnel are responsible for quality inspection to ensure that every step is error mistake in production.

Quality Control

Quality is the life of A.S.T Building Materials. We have strict quality control system to ensure the highest quality of every order, every aggregate and every piece.

 

01 Before Production

We will make twice samples, the first sample is provided to the customer for decision, and the second sample is after customer confirmation before production.

Before production, in order to reduce color difference and reduce dimensional errors, we will use the raw materials used in production, the customized molds,the customized paving boards to trial-produce samples again.

 

02 During Production

During production, our scientific management, advanced equipment and the production technical process assure the cope of production and stability of products.

 

03 After Production

After the product production is completed, we will double check each piece of the tile.We will lay out the products to see if the overall effect can meet the customer's requirements. Then clean the surface of the tile, package it with protection, and then pack into cartons and pallets.

Once find any defectives about the goods, we will reproduce that until the goods pass the QC quality standard.

 

Packing & Shipping

Good Packing is very crucial for shipping the goods safely all the way from China to your country.

Tiles:

In order to ensure that the tiles are not scratched or damage, we will make a partition between each glossy tiles.Then packed our tiles into a brand new white neutral cardboard box or customized packaging boxes.A plywood or solid wood case with waterproof protection outside can prevent the goods get wet.

Mosaic tiles:

We place paper partitions between each mosaic tiles to prevent scratching of the mosaic surfaces.We use more expensive paper partition instead of plastic paper to protect our environment.A strong paper carton and plywood or solid wood case with waterproof protection outside can prevent the goods get wet.

Terrazzo:

For our terrazzo, plastic foam needs to be placed between the pieces of each terrazzo. In terms of outer packaging, more of our customers use wooden cases. If necessary, customize cartons inside and wooden cases outside are also recommended.

 

Shipping

Our experienced loading workers will take care of your tiles carefully while loading the goods. We will make sure zero damage of the goods when loading the container. We will place air bags between the gaps in the container to prevent cargo collision . And we will fix each row of wooden pallets with steel wires or fiber wires to prevent the wooden pallets from moving during shipping.
