Zellige tiles and zellige mosaic are made of natural clay.
The production of traditional zellige tiles originated in Fez, Morocco. Workers need to mix natural river clay with water, use plastic molds to shape them, dry them under the sun, and then fire them in shuttle kilns. The entire process is basically by hand.
Our company's zellige tiles are also made from natural river clay. We use plaster molds to make different shapes according to customer needs. After drying, they are fired once, glazed, and then fired in our roller kiln. The difference between our zellige tiles and traditional zellige tiles is that while we retain the handmade workmanship, we also use modern equipment to increase the production capacity of zellige tiles. Our zellige tiles currently have a monthly production capacity of 1,500 square meters, which are hot selling to Europe, America areas and Australia.
